I’m so glad you’re here.
Hi, I'm Haley! I’m a birth and postpartum doula in Brevard, NC.
I love meeting new babies… but caring for the person becoming a parent is where my heart truly lies.
I believe doula work is deeply relationship-based. I love getting to know my clients and their families, learning what makes them feel safe and supported (it's different for everyone!), and watching partners grow closer through it all.
I believe everyone deserves someone in their corner through birth and postpartum. I'm continually honored to be chosen for that role.
How We Can Work Together
I offer a Birth Package that includes continuous support through pregnancy, labor, and birth - along with flexible Postpartum Packages so you can choose the amount of in-home care that fits your family. It all starts with a free consultation, so we can figure out what's right for you.
Doula FAQ’s
-
A doula offers emotional, physical, and informational support and advocacy. A doula is a non-medical support person using evidence-based information and comfort measures to provide unbiased, individualized, and non-judgmental care.
-
Studies show that doula support is associated with better birth experiences and outcomes:
Up to a ~25–39% lower risk of cesarean birth
A shorter average labor length
More spontaneous vaginal births and greater satisfaction with the birthing experience
Reduced anxiety during labor and lower rates of postpartum depression
But beyond the research, a doula offers something the medical system simply isn't designed to provide: continuous, unhurried presence. Your care team is focused on your health and safety - my focus is entirely on you - how you're feeling, what you need, and making sure you feel informed and supported in every moment.
-
Absolutely. My support isn't tied to any particular birth plan, setting, or outcome, it's tied to you. Whether you're planning a home birth, a birth center, or a hospital delivery - medicated, unmedicated, or cesarean - I'm here to help you feel informed, prepared, and supported in whatever unfolds.
-
I'm on call for you 24/7 starting at 37 weeks, and you can call me any time you think labor may be beginning. I provide up to 16 hours of continuous in-person support. If your labor extends beyond that, a backup doula (someone I'll introduce you to beforehand) steps in so you always have attentive, well-rested care by your side.
-
Not at all - one of my favorite parts of this work is supporting your partner too. I help them feel confident and involved, offering guidance on how to best support you in the moment. We become a team, and that often makes the experience more meaningful for everyone in the room.
"She never took away from my role as a husband or dad. She actually helped me feel more confident in both." — Frank B."
-
I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education, and I've also gone to herb school, so I bring elements from both worlds into my care.
I'm also a postpartum doula, which means the same person supporting you through pregnancy and birth can continue caring for you and your baby afterward.
-
The earlier, the better! Hiring early means more time together before birth - getting to know each other, talking through your hopes and preferences, and making sure you feel fully prepared. That said, if you're further along in your pregnancy, please still reach out. I'm always happy to discuss what's possible.
-
Yes! I never want cost to feel like a barrier to getting the support you deserve. If you have concerns about the investment, I'm always open to a conversation about creative solutions that work for everyone. Just bring it up during your free consultation and we'll figure something out together.

“I truly don’t know how to put into words how grateful we are for Haley. From pregnancy, through the birth of our son, and into postpartum, she has been such an incredible source of support for our family.
Having Haley as our doula made such a difference in my birth experience. She has this amazing ability to be calm and grounding while still making you feel completely heard, supported, and in control of your own experience.
Due to developing preeclampsia, my birth experience ended in a c-section. She was supportive and encouraging through all the difficult decisions. Haley made what could have been an extremely traumatic experience, still beautiful in its own right. She held my hand throughout the procedure and kept my husband informed on aspects he didn’t understand.
I can’t thank Haley enough for how she supported me through such a major surgery. I’m especially grateful for the way she supported my husband. Not only helping him better support me, but giving him the opportunity to be fully present with our son during the moments when I couldn’t be.
Haley was exactly what I needed throughout the process. My husband was also surprised by how much he valued having her there to support him too. She helped both of us navigate such a huge, emotional, life-changing experience together.
What I didn’t expect when we hired a doula was that we would end up finding someone who would continue to be such an important part of our lives after our baby was born. She has gone from “our doula” to someone we genuinely trust and care about, and I think that says more about the kind of person she is than anything else I could write.
If you are considering having Haley support you through pregnancy, birth, or postpartum, I cannot recommend her enough. We would choose her again in a heartbeat.”

“Haley was such a wonderful part of my birth experience. Even though my labor moved quickly and she was with us for the last couple of hours, she made such a meaningful impact. She helped create the calm, peaceful environment I had hoped for with dim lights and aromatherapy, and her presence made me feel safe and supported.
When it came time to push, she was incredibly encouraging and guided me through different positions, even with an epidural, helping me feel confident every step of the way. She worked seamlessly with the hospital staff and always made sure my preferences were honored.
I’m so grateful she was part of welcoming our daughter into the world, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, calming, and supportive doula.”

“I’ll admit I wasn’t sure how much having a doula would impact my experience. After having Haley there for the birth of our son I can say I’m very thankful we had her.
When our birth plan changed and my wife needed a c-section Haley was there for both of us. She helped me understand what was happening and how I could best support my wife. Having her there also gave me the chance to focus on our son during the moments my wife couldn’t.
Haley is also just a genuinely good person with a very calming presence . She’s easy to be around and has a way of making a stressful situation feel a little less overwhelming. She fit in with us from the beginning and always made both of us feel comfortable.
She never took away from my role as a husband or dad. She actually helped me feel more confident in both.
I didn’t expect to get as much out of having a doula as I did. I’m really grateful Haley was there for one of the biggest moments of our lives. I consider her part of our family unit. I would absolutely recommend her to other dads and families.”
